I found the need to restore this button for our needs and figured I’d share. This is just a quick blurb on how to re-enable the Launch OpenSTE Trending Viewer button that was disabled December 12, 2022 under the commit 4baa07d.
Using your favorite text editor on the server hosting your instance of PQ Dashboard open up this file for editing: /PQDashboardSiteRoot/Views/Main/Home.cshtml Where PQDashboardSiteRoot is the root path to where you have the PQDashboard instance hosted with IIS. Locate the function called makeOpenSTEButton_html at or around line 480. In that method you will see a line that starts with return_html += '<button disabled onclick="OpenWindowToOpenSTE. Remove keyword disabled from that line. Save your edit. Restart IIS and the Launch OpenSTE Trending Viewer button should now be re-enabled.
