OpenPDC Service Stopped

Hi,

Our OpenPDC was working fine but the service stopped working suddenly. This has happened in two different sites.

This is the pop-up message that we are seeing -
‘The openPDC service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs’

I have tried to attach the image as well.

Looks like the service is not starting. I’ve seen this happen when the config file is corrupted - check that the openPDC.exe.config file is well formed XML and complete.

If the config file is preventing openPDC from starting, you should be able to check the Windows Event Viewer to see the actual error message.

If the file is corrupted, we will need to check for a backup file in the same folder, e.g., openPDC.exe.config.backup.
